Sealed bids will be received at the Blue Springs City Hall, Codes Administration front counter; 903 W. Main Street, Blue Springs, Missouri starting on Monday, March 27, 2023 for the Structure Demolition at 704-706 SW 36th Street Terr. The closing date for receiving the sealed bids is 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023. All bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the second floor Conference Room #210 of City Hall at 9:00 am April 28, 2023. Contractors and the public are welcome to attend this meeting.
Project Description:
Demolition and removal of a residential structure and all improvements located at 704-706 SW 36th Street Terr, Blue Springs, MO, 64014; Parcel Number 35-830-02-20-00-0-00-000, legal description of Pinebrook lot 14. Demolition permit is required. Approved disconnection from all utilities. All building materials are to be removed and hauled off including all the foundation, concrete, underground piping, driveway, and private sidewalks. Lot is to be graded and grass seeded with protection for the seed. The lot is to be returned to a buildable lot.
Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be at least equal to the Division of Labor Standards of the State of Missouri.
The City of Blue Springs, Missouri reserves the right to award the contract by sections, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. The City of Blue Springs hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination, regardless of race, color, or national origin in consideration for any award. All bidders are also notified that as a condition for contract award documentation proving “their enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program” such as E-verify must be submitted to the City.
