[ARCHIVED] POSTPONED: State of the City Address Postponed to March 17 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to the weather forecast calling for snow and ice Thursday, February 17, 2022, Mayor Carson Ross will now deliver his 14th Annual State of the City Address on Thursday, March 17, at Adams Pointe Conference Center, 1400 NE Coronado Drive, Blue Springs. 

The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event. The luncheon begins at 11:30, with the Mayor’s remarks expected to begin about noon.  

The theme of the 2021 State of the City Address is “We Celebrate our Past While excited about our Future.” Mayor Ross will reflect on the past year, celebrate the many successes the City has achieved and share key priorities and initiatives for the future. 

The State of the City address will be re-broadcast on the City’s government access channel, Comcast Channel 7 or AT&T Channel 99, The City’s YouTube Channel and on the City’s website, www.bluespringsgov.com.

Those wishing to attend the in-person event should purchase tickets from the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce at www.bluespringschamber.com/events or call (816) 229-8558. If you have previously registered to attend in-person, your registration will be transferred to the March 17 date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled March date and would like to cancel your reservation, please contact Rose Hall at rhall@bluespringschamber.com.
