Playgrounds closed graphic

In accordance with Jackson County Stay At Home Order and the latest Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations, the City of Blue Springs will be closing all playgrounds at City Parks until at least April 24, 2020.

City Parks and trails will remain open and available for biking and walking for the physical and mental health of our community. When using these amenities, please use the social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC and make sure there is at least 6 feet between you and other patrons. If you are showing any symptoms, please stay home and refrain from using park amenities during this time. Park water fountains and restrooms are closed.

This is a rapidly changing situation and the City is monitoring it closely and continuously communicating with other government and health agencies. We will continue to provide updates and take additional measures as needed for the safety of our residents and employees as the situation warrants.

Please visit our City’s website at www.bluespringsgov.com/COVID19 for all COVID-19-related updates and information. For more information about the Jackson County Order, please visit www.jacksongov.org.
