[ARCHIVED] District 1 Councilmen Invite Residents To Attend a Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting on Jan. 15

On Tuesday, Jan. 15 , District 1 Councilmen Dale Carter and Jerry Kaylor will host a Facebook Live Town Hall meeting in the City Council Chambers at the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building, 1100 SW Smith Street. The Town Hall will begin at 6:00 p.m. where community members will have the opportunity to talk with the council members about the proposed changes to the City Charter and other city government issues.  The councilmen will field questions from residents in the audience and via Facebook, and facilitate dialog about district priorities.

“We’re excited to be hosting a Facebook Live Town Hall for our District 1 residents,” Kaylor said. “This is a great opportunity for us to have a conversation with the residents we represent and to do our best to answer any questions they may have about our City.”

“With the upcoming April 2019 election on the proposed changes to the City Charter, we thought this would be a great time to answer questions and give a little more background regarding the issues that our residents will be asked to vote on in a few short months,” Carter said.

Residents can view the event live on the City’s Facebook page at www.bluespringsgov.com/bluespringsgov. For more information about the District 1 town hall meeting or to submit questions in advance, email Councilman Dale Carter  at dcarter@bluespringsgov.com or Councilman Jerry Kayor at jkaylor@bluespringsgov.com.
