Blue Springs, Mo. – District 2 Councilmen Kent Edmondson and Chris Lievsay will host a Facebook Live town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 21 at the Blue Springs Pizza Shoppe, 1105 W Main Street, beginning at 6 p.m. to talk with community members about city government issues. The councilmen will provide development updates, information about the 5-Year Dedicated Parks Maintenance Sales Tax Initiative, field questions from residents in the audience and via Facebook, and facilitate dialog about district priorities.
“This is our first Facebook Live event and we encourage residents to attend in person or catch the meeting live on the City’s Facebook page,” said Councilman Chris Lievsay. “I invite all Council District 2 residents or business owners to attend and bring their questions, concerns and ideas about our district.”
“Town Hall meetings are a great way for elected officials to get out there, talk with residents in a one-on-one format and hear their thoughts, concerns and priorities,” said Councilman Kent Edmondson. “We hope to create a two-way conversation about important issues in our district and help to make Blue Springs the best community it can be.”
Residents can view the event live on the City’s Facebook page at www.bluespringsgov.com/bluespringsgov. Refreshments will be available at this meeting.
