Blue Springs, Mo. – The City of Blue Springs is pleased to announce the launch of its new online Citizen Access Portal. This new portal can be accessed by visiting www.bluespringsgov.com/apply and clicking on the Citizen Access Portal link. Through this new tool, users can apply for or renew business licenses, submit variance applications, sign applications, and pay fees online with a small processing fee.
“We are committed to enhancing our technology efforts to better serve our residents and business community,” said Mayor Carson Ross. “We are excited to offer the convenience of online business resources, permit tracking, and payment options for our businesses and residents.”
The Citizen Access Portal allows users to:
• Search and Track:
o Business License by Name, Address or Business Type
o Permits by address or by permit type
o Plan Case by address, plan case number, or project name
• Submit Applications, Requests and Payment:
o Business License applications and renewals
o Sign, Variance Applications
o Pre-Application Meetings and Inspection Requests
o Residential Building Permits to Install or Replace New Water Heaters, Air Conditioners and Furnaces (Where Building Plans Are Not Required)
Individuals or businesses wishing to submit permit applications and pay in-person, may do so by visiting City Hall at 903 W Main Street during business hours.
