Blue Springs Fieldhouse Now Home to Parks & Recreation Administrative Offices
Blue Springs, Mo. – The Administrative Offices of the Blue Springs Parks & Recreation Department will be located in the Blue Springs Fieldhouse at 425 N.E. Mock Avenue effective immediately.
These offices are open to the public and residents can come in person and speak with Parks representatives from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Individuals can also register online 24/7 by visiting bluespringsgov.com/parks.
“This move allows our department to better meet the needs of the Blue Springs community and surrounding municipalities as we prepare for the September opening of the Fieldhouse,” said Parks & Recreation Director Dennis Dovel.
Assisted tours are available upon request. Once complete, the Fieldhouse will offer 76,000-square-feet of indoor recreational space including a state-of-the-art fitness center, group exercise and child watch options
Services previously offered by Parks & Recreation at City Hall will still be available at the Fieldhouse including:
• Fieldhouse sign-up
• Class registration
• Purchase of season passes to regional amusement parks
• Friends of Parks information
• Shelter/gazebo rentals
• Recreation program information
There will no longer be any assistance for Parks & Recreation in the City Hall building, however; if you have any questions you can contact Parks at (816) 228-0137. If you are unable to reach a Parks staff member, please leave a message and your call will be returned.
