Blue Springs, Mo. – The City of Blue Springs is alerting motorists that Vesper Street at the intersection of Woods Chapel Road will be closed beginning Wednesday, August 5 and will remain closed for approximately two weeks, weather pending. This closure will allow for the reconstruction of a portion of Vesper Street.
West-bound Vesper Street traffic will be detoured south on 22nd Street and west on NW Walnut Street to Woods Chapel Road. To access Vesper Street from Woods Chapel Road motorist will be detoured east on NW Walnut Street and north on 22nd Street to Vesper Street.
Woods Chapel Road will remain open during the Vesper Street closure and drivers should be vigilant for lane realignments and expect construction-related delays. For both the safety of construction workers and drivers, we urge commuters to be cautious in work zones.
