BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The City will discontinue operation of the Missouri Department of Revenue License Bureau Office located in City Hall at noon on Friday, February 27, 2015.
The new Blue Springs Missouri Department of Revenue License Bureau Office will open March 23 at 2402 SW Missouri Highway 7. Customers can obtain Missouri Department of Revenue services at the following locations:
• Lee’s Summit Office: 196A NW Oldham Parkway, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081, (816) 524-8003
• Independence Office: 16643 E 23rd St., Independence, MO 64055, (816) 252-7557
• Sugar Creek Office: 521 S Sterling Ave., Sugar Creek, MO 64054, (816) 836-9191
• Raytown Office: 6138 Raytown Trafficway, Raytown, MO 64133, (816) 737-1100
In October 2014, City leaders announced they would not pursue a renewal of the Missouri Department of Revenue License Bureau contract. The original contract expired on February 11, but was extended at the state’s request to February 27, 2015.
