BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – In observance of the Christmas Day and New Year's Day holidays, City of Blue Springs, Mo., offices and Vesper Hall will close at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1. Public Safety staff will continue to perform normal operations and snow removal teams will monitor conditions in the event of snow accumulation.
Christmas trees may be dropped off at Pink Hill Park, 2715 NW Park Drive for recycling from December 26, 2013 through January 19. Please remember to remove all ornaments, lights and tinsel before using this service. This free program is a safe and environmentally friendly way to dispose of your Christmas tree. Commercial vendors may also participate for a fee, please contact Parks & Recreation at (816) 228-0137 for more information.
