Blue Springs, Mo. – The City Council and Park Commission invite residents to attend the second community center feasibility meeting on Tuesday, January 8, 6:30 p.m. at the Blue Springs Freshman Center, 2013 NW Vesper Street. The meeting will be in the Commons area.
This meeting will feature a presentation to the Park Commission as to the status of the feasibility study. The presentation will include information regarding market analysis, final survey results, preliminary center features and next steps. After the presentation, residents are invited to participate in a question and answer session.
This public meeting is part of a feasibility study conducted by SFS Architecture partnering with Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture to examine options related to size, amenities, programming and community support. A final report, expected in April, will also include a market analysis, construction cost estimates, projected operating expenses and potential facility locations.
