The Human Resources Office fulfills many important roles for both City Employees and the public including risk management, employment opportunities, employee benefits and relations, policy interpretation, and more.
We welcome qualified applicants, without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, medical condition or disability.
It is the policy of the city that all employment decisions are made solely on the basis of merit. We ensure each employee a discrimination-free workplace, and have a strong commitment to equal employment opportunities.
Equal Employment Opportunity Plan
Federal Law requires that recipients of certain federal grants prepare workforce reports to ensure that the entities are providing equal employment opportunities to men and women regardless of sex, race, or national origin. The City of Blue Springs is the recipient of a grant for which the Equal Employment Opportunity Plan and Utilization Analysis must be completed. The requirements also dictate that the report be disseminated to both internal and external users. Click here to view or print this document.
