Specially trained staff:
  • Intervenes and de-escalates crisis situations, then leads youth and families to a realistic plan for success
  • Works to re-integrate the youth into family, school, and community, reducing the potential for increased crime and violence
  • Works with family members to develop a plan to ensure the juvenile’s greatest success opportunity

This counseling component is available to all youth.

The Crisis Assistance Program supervises the unit’s Levels Program, which defines case management goals and objectives for youth referred to the unit.
