Julia Porter has served as the Deputy City Clerk for the City of Blue Springs since 2018. Prior to joining the City Clerk’s office, Julia worked in the City’s Parks and Utility Billing Departments for three years.
Julia serves as the City’s Records Manager and works with department representatives to maintain records pursuant to State guidelines and City policies. Julia serves as the Board Secretary to the Land Bank of Blue Springs and provides administrative support to the Board.
Julia is a graduate of the 2019 Blue Springs Chamber LEADership class and received her Missouri Registered City Clerk and Certified Municipal Clerk designations from the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association and International Institute of Municipal Clerks, respectively in 2021. Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri.
