The Municipal Court is located at 1100 SW Smith St, Blue Springs, MO 64015, in the Public Safety & Municipal Court building.
The Municipal Court accepts major credit cards; MasterCard, Discover, Visa in person only. There is a minimal fee charged when you use a credit or debit card charged by the credit card processing company.
Some tickets may be paid without appearing in Court. You must, however, pay the ticket before your court date. For tickets issued prior to June 1, 2022, you may click on the 'Pay Bill or Ticket' button on this website to search your ticket to find out if it is payable. Tickets issued June 1, 2022 and after, please go to www.courts.mo.gov to see if your ticket is payable.
If the ticket is not paid before your court date and/or you do not appear in court, a warrant for your arrest may be issued.
If you need to change the date of your court date, you may contact the Court office by phone at (816) 228-0175 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware phones are not answered during court and emails are answered as quickly as possible but may take up to 72 hours for a response. If you need to change your court date, please do so before the day of court.
If your court date has previously been changed or you have failed to appear, you will be required to appear in court to request a new date from the Judge in person. It is within the Court's discretion to grant delays or continuances from the Court date on most cases. Before granting a continuance, the Court may require written proof of your excuse.
Once you fail to appear in court, a payable ticket is no longer payable, and you will be required to appear in court.
