Residents in the Parks neighborhood along SW 22nd Street will be without water for a period of time on Jan. 11 and Jan. 12 due to water line repairs.
The City of Blue Springs will be replacing 140 feet of water main in the area. As part of this project, water will need to be shut off, which will affect water service to approximately 250 homes (as shown on the map attached).
Water is currently scheduled to be turned off Wednesday afternoon between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. and Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. To prepare, impacted residents may want to fill up water bottles or other containers for use during the day. Crews will also have bottled water available to those affected residents if needed. Our goal is to have water back on by the time residents return from work on both days.
