The Blue Springs Business Resource Network is hosting the How to Start a Business in Blue Springs Expo from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at the Mid-Continent Public Library North Branch, 850 NW Hunter Drive in the Community Room. This event is free and open to the public.
The How to Start a Business in Blue Springs Expo is intended to help prospective entrepreneurs navigate the processes of successfully launching businesses in Blue Springs. Tina Dale and Kristen Crosslin from the City of Blue Springs Business Services Division will deliver the keynote presentation to walk through the steps of starting a business in Blue Springs. Representatives will be on-site to provide resources on financing, writing business plans, finding the right location, and navigating licensing requirements.
Expo representatives include the City of Blue Springs Business Services Division, Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce, Mid-Continent Public Library-Square One, Blue Springs Downtown Alive!, Bank 21, and the Small Business Development Center.
