BLUE SPRINGS, MO. – The City of Blue Springs announced the winners of the 2019 My Blue Springs Photo Contest.
Out of 82 total entries from residents of all ages, City staff has selected the following winners:
Best in Show: Elaine Jones, for her snowy scape at Burr Oak Woods.
People of Blue Springs Category: Chris Heir, for his photo of kayaking on Lake Remembrance.
Park Life Category: Denny Craft for his photo of a snow-covered Burr Oak Woods.
Youth Category – 18 and under: Etain Tom, Blue Springs High School Student, for a photo the crowd at the Blue Springs Fall Fun Fest.
The winners will be featured in the Winter 2019/2020 edition of the Blue Springs Magazine with the Best in Show Photo by Elaine Jones on the cover. You can view all the winning photos on the City’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/bluespringsgov or by following the City of Blue Springs on Instagram.
