BLUE SPRINGS, MO. – The City of Blue Springs announced the winners of the 2018 My Blue Springs Photo Contest.
Out of 43 total entries from residents of all ages, the City Communications Team has selected the following winners:
Best in Show: Gerald White, for his nighttime landscape of the Public Art piece, Once Around the Block.
My Blue Springs Category: Stephen Bubalo, for his sunset landscape of kick-off at the Blue Springs High School vs Blue Springs South High School football game.
People of Blue Springs Category: Amanda Graham for a photo of acrobatic poses on the dock at Blue Springs Lake.
Park Life Category: Kyla O’Dell for her photo of a boy climbing the monkey bars at Baumgartner Park.
Youth Category – 18 and under: Payton Pace, Age 7 for a photo of her street in the fall.
The winners will be featured in the Winter 2018/2019 edition of the Blue Springs Magazine with the Best in Show Photo by Gerald White on the cover. The winning photos will also be posted to the City’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/bluespringsgov.
