[ARCHIVED] POSTPONED: Council District 2 Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting postponed

The District 2 Town Hall has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. Please look for information on the rescheduled event to be announced soon.

Blue Springs, Mo. – District 2 Councilmen Kent Edmondson and Chris Lievsay will host a Facebook Live town hall meeting on Tuesday, November 13 in the Journagan Community Room the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building, 1100 SW Smith Street beginning at 6:30 p.m. to talk with community members about city government issues.  The councilmen will field questions from residents in the audience and via Facebook, and facilitate dialog about district priorities.

“We encourage residents to attend in person or catch the meeting live on the City’s Facebook page,” said Councilman Chris Lievsay.  “I invite all Council District 2 residents or business owners to attend and bring their questions, concerns and ideas about our district.”

“Town Hall meetings are a great way for elected officials to get out there, talk with residents in a one-on-one format and hear their thoughts, concerns and priorities,” said Councilman Kent Edmondson.  “We hope to create a two-way conversation about important issues in our district and help to make Blue Springs the best community it can be.”

Residents can view the event live on the City’s Facebook page at www.bluespringsgov.com/bluespringsgov. For more information about the District 2 town hall meeting, email Councilman Kent Edmondson at kedmondson@bluespringsgov.com or Councilman Chris Lievsay at clievsay@bluespringsgov.com.
