Blue Springs, Mo. – The Blue Springs City Council will host a Facebook Live town hall meeting on Tuesday, August 22 at Cordill-Mason Elementary School, 4001 SW Christiansen Drive, beginning at 6 p.m. to talk with community members about city government issues. The Mayor and Council will provide development updates, information about the 5-Year Dedicated Parks Maintenance Sales Tax implementation, field questions from residents in the audience and via Facebook, and facilitate dialog about City priorities.
“Town Hall meetings are a great way for elected officials to talk with residents in a one-on-one format and hear their thoughts, concerns and priorities,” said Mayor Carson Ross. “By adding Facebook Live, we hope more residents can attend either in person or online. These forums facilitate two-way conversations about important issues in our City and help to make Blue Springs the best community it can be.”
A quorum of the City Council will be in attendance.
