Blue Springs, Mo. – The City of Blue Springs is alerting motorists that eastbound NE Coronado Drive will be closed to traffic between NE Adams Dairy Road and Adams Dairy Parkway, the area in front of Home Depot and Olive Garden overnight beginning at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29 and ending at 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, weather permitting.
Through traffic wishing to go east of Adams Dairy Parkway will be detoured at Sunnyside School Road to R. D. Mize Road, and then east to Adams Dairy Parkway. Eastbound access will remain available to the businesses along Coronado Drive using the entrance at Adams Dairy Place, the entrance to Walmart and Sonic/Taco Bell. The contractor will be installing a gas service connection across NE Coronado Drive for a new business in front of Home Depot.
For the safety of construction workers and drivers, we urge motorists to be cautious in work zones and watch for workers.
