Blue Springs, Mo. – The City of Blue Springs is notifying motorists that beginning Monday, May 11, Smith Street will be closed from 11th to 12th Street to accommodate construction on the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building.
This street closure is in place to keep construction for the Public Safety Building on schedule and is expected to be in place for the next 3-4 months.
The expansion and renovation of the Public Safety Building is scheduled for completion in late fall and will feature a more customer service-oriented design to better serve residents and officers.
