Blue Springs, Mo. – Carl Felt Drive will be closed at Woods Chapel Road for over one month beginning Thursday, June 27, weather permitting. This will allow the reconstruction of the southbound lanes of Woods Chapel Road. Traffic will be detoured onto 36th Street to the South Outer Road.
In conjunction with this closure, traffic will shift from the west side of the bridge to the east side of the bridge. Due to this new traffic pattern, the road narrows to two lanes increasing congestion during peak periods.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution in this area, plan their travel accordingly and seek alternate routes for the next 6 weeks.
