Taijiquan, also know as t'ai chi ch'uan, is pronounced TIE zhee choo-en. It is a low impact Chinese martial art practices for self-defense and health benefits using slow movements with breathing and focused mental concentration. This is Yang style Taijiquan using the 37 Step Cheng Man Ching Form characterized by evenness of flow, continuous movement free from abrupt starts, even count with hands, feet and body center flowing as one piece integrating physical and mental processes.
