  • Weekly Session Fee: $120 per child, per week.
Session fees must be paid by the payment deadline (one week prior to the start of the camp session you are paying for).  Weekly session fees are $120 regardless of the number of days your child attends.  We do not offer daily rates for summer camp.

Weekly camp payments are due the Monday prior to the start of each camp session.

If payment is not received by the deadline, your child's spot may be forfeited.
Payments can be made online, by mail, or in person at the Parks & Recreation office at the Blue Springs Fieldhouse.

If capacity permits, late payments may be accepted following a $10 late payment fee.  Late payments will only be accepted until 7 p.m. the Tuesday following the payment deadline (example: if the payment deadline is Monday, June 5, late payments will only be accepted until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6 if space allows).

Ratio

Our camp is designed for a 9 to 1 camper-to-staff ratio during scheduled activities.  We frequently travel to and from activity sites by bus and fill our day with structured learning opportunities, games and large group interaction.  Therefore, this camp may not be the right fit for every child.  If you need help in determining whether this camp is right for your child, please contact Camp Director at (816) 228-0137.

CIT Program

Is your child between the ages of 13-15 but would still like to attend summer camp? Is your child looking for an opportunity to develop leadership skills while making new friends?  Consider applying for our Counselor In Training program!  As a CIT, your child will learn valuable skills while working alongside our camp staff and mentoring younger campers.  Space for this selective program is limited.  Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 16.  For more information and to submit an application, please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 228-0137
